Their another two albums "TOTAL HARD CORE" & "GOD SAVE THE GREEN" are well known as world's hardcore classics for a long time. These are still listed as favorite by punk & hardcore heads all over the world.
Yes, this album is right that you expect. But you can feel change a bit from some songs. It's because of new member, KAZUKI SWEDEN(ex-VIVISICK). You will be blasted by his thrilling guitar play.
Eye-catching front cover painting is by Okano Masato in NYC. And you can find R&S's respect to hardcore originators from album title. Anyway, here's their "Total Hard Core" album coming!!

2019年8月8日にリリースされた7インチを即日完売させ、完全復活の狼煙を上げたROCKY & The SWEDENが、19年振りとなるフルアルバムをついにリリース！！
ご存知HARDCORE GRASS HOPPERSこと、ROCKY & The SWEDEN。彼らの残した「TOTAL HARD CORE」、「GOD SAVE THE GREEN」は共に、ハードコア界における重要作品として数えられ、未だに日本海外問わずフェイバリットに挙げられる事も少なくない。そんなROCKY & The SWEDENの最新作がリリースされるというのだから、感謝、享受する以外に選択肢はないだろう。
まずアルバムを通して、皆様が期待しているだろう"ロッキーらしさ"に関してはど真ん中に鎮座している。そこから派生する新しい要素として、新メンバーKAZUKI SWEDENのギターワークは特筆しておくべきだろう。2曲目に収録されている"VOICE"のド頭イントロで飛び出すハーモニーに衝撃を覚えるに違いない。また、今作の布石としてリリースされた7インチに収録された"GREEN RIOT"、"WEED WEED WEED"も収録されているが、若干のマイナーチェンジがされているので是非聴き比べてみていただきたい。そして本アルバムの最後を飾る"UNITE & WIN"ではCAPTAIN"KOBA"SWEDENの熱唱で大円団。年月を経て新しく得たもの、それでも変わらないもの、その両面をしっかり噛み締める事が出来るラインナップのアルバムに仕上がっている。
一際目を引くジャケット画像はNY在住、新進気鋭のアーティストOKANO MASATO氏によるもの。また7インチ同様、アルバムタイトルのオマージュにも注目したい。兎にも角にも彼らの全てを詰め込んだ、まさに「Total Hard Core」な一枚がここに完成した。

Floor-to-ceiling Boris ragers! It’s like they looked back on songs like Statement and Woman On the Screen and said “let’s do a whole album like that!” Most of these tracks don’t even pass 3 minutes! Zerkalo holds up the middle with some anguished doom. In the end, *NO* is as strong and declarative as it’s title. Brian Parker
